How it works – Our Methods
Check out how it works. Read the step by step guide on how we fit and handle your chosen hose. From fitting to crimping, cleaning and capping. We take care of every step to guarantee the best quality hydraulic hoses.
01. Hose Selection
We offer a great range of hydraulic hoses. From ¼” up to 2” internal diameter from the global leading manufacturer ‘ Alfagomma’, originated in Italy. We will assist you in choosing the correct hose for your application.
02. Cutting hose
Most of our hydraulic hoses are available up to lengths of 200 meters, if you want it shorter we will use the O+P hydraulic hose cutter that can handle diameters up to 3”.
03. Internal/external skiving
For the higher pressure applications we perform external and / or internal skiving to guarantee the correct bonding between fitting and hose.
04. Internal cleaning
Cleaning the hose of any debris is done by our ‘Ultra Clean’ projectile shooter. With this process we can guarantee the ISO code 18/16/13 requirements, similar to a NAS 7 cleanliness.
05. Fitting inserting
When handling our 45 or 90 degree hydraulic fittings, we are using the O+P machine to insert the fitting into the hose without causing any damage to the product.
06. Crimping fittings
Crimping of the fittings onto the hydraulic hose according to the highest standards can be done in our shop up to a diameter of 3” with a precision of 0.01 mm.
07. Pressure testing
On request of the customer we can perform a pressure test on the hose assembly up to 980 BAR, were after we supply the test report and tag the specific hose.
08. Capping
To make sure no debris can enter the finished hydraulic hose, we install plastic caps on every hose that leaves our shop.
